Facebook: The major purposes of Facebook are about connecting with other people. This can be anyone from friends, to family, or even to coworkers. It is a tool that is used as a type of blog, where people can post pictures, videos, or stories on their "page" and make that information easily available to their friends. Facebook is most commonly used for sharing information with others, but it can also be used to keep up with real-world topics. People can receive the news and follow their favorite bands or companies on Facebook and receive information instantly.
Twitter: Twitter is a micro-blogging site that is very popular among people who want to keep their friends or family updated, pretty much minute by minute. It allows people to post short sayings to the public. It can be thought of as push-notifications for people.

DREAM ACT
I do not believe that the DREAM ACT should be passed. It pretty much encourages illegal immigration. It would completely override any reason to enter the country legally and increase the flow of illegal immigrants into the country. The only part of it that makes sense is requiring them to serve in the military to gain citizenship, but I believe that that should be a separate program that people have to register with and wait in line, just like everybody else. Once a child is legalized, they can petition for their parents to be legalized as well

Opinions
Abortion - Abortion should not be allowed in the US, except in the extremely rare instances that it is required to save the mother's life. Even in cases of rape, the mother should not be allowed to abort their baby. Additionally, if someone does illegally abort a baby they should face jail time.
Minimum Wage - The minimum wage should not be increased. It makes no sense to double the minimum wage, and then not expect the price of everything to double. The entire economy would just double its prices, so that a candy bar cost $2 instead of $1. To me, this is common sense economics. The solution to a low pay grade is to improve the economy so that inflation does not outpace the minimum wage.
Climate Change - Climate change is not man made in the sense the media would like to you to believe. While I do believe that pollution is a growing problem, it is not causing the entire globe to heat up. The earth experiences periods of warming and cooling (i.e. the ice age), and we are currently in a period of warming.

Viruses - programs that get installed on a computer, usually unknowingly, and spread throughout other files, causing the computer to crash
Phishing - when someone attempts to get someone to click on a virus by disguising it as something legitimate, such as a contest, giveaway, ad, etc.
e-mail - electronic mail that is transferred via the internet. Users can use this to send text and documents quickly to another user anywhere in the world.
social engineering - when someone attempts to manipulate someone into giving personal information they would not normally give out. This usually happens through social media as someone attempts to establish trust over a period of several months
Spoofing - when someone establishes credibility by using the identity of another. This is very common in email, as people send messages from seemingly legitimate sources
Identity theft -when someone gets a hold of your personal information, especially credit cards and bank accounts, and uses this information to steal your money or ruin your reputation.
